The interior ministry has released a statement that is meant to give an important message to Ghanaians.
The year draws to its end as, according to the adopted world calendar, tonight will be the end of 2020 and 2021 will be ushered in. This year has been really tough due to the impact of the corona virus covid-19 which wrecked many economies and are yet to make some headway in recovery from the shock and economic depression.
As such, everyone is praying that 2021 brings us to the failed attempts at making life better. And important information that needs to be taken note has come from the interior ministry of Ghana, just this afternoon. According to the press release, Thursday, January 7th has been declared a public holiday. This means that everyone will have some rest and relaxation on Thurday from all the hustles and bustles that we have been facing. The release was signed by the interior minister and member of parliament for Nandom constituency, Honourable Ambrose Derry.
The full statement of the release has been added below for your consumption.
