Sam George Presents Good News To Ghanaians Who Fear Their Sim Will Be Blocked Tomorrow

The registration of the sims of Ghanaians has been a major concern of the current Government. The requirement is that every Ghanaian is to register their sim cards using their Ghana card.

This requirement raised several issues, the main one being that some Ghanaians didn't have a Ghana card, to begin with. The slow process of acquiring one has further made the process of registering the sim cards an ordeal.

This caused the Ministry of Communication to extend the deadline for registration several times. However, the 30th of September 2022 was marked as the final date for Ghanaians to ensure they have their sims registered.

This has made many anxious as some have still not gotten their Ghana cards from National Identification Authority.

Sam George, the MP for the Ningo-Prampram constituency has been advocating for the authorities to exercise patience and execute the registration process in an organized manner rather than in a rushed one.

In his latest address to Ghanaians, he expressed that he is 100% confident that no sim card will be blocked tomorrow. He goes on to explain that this is a victory for the Ghanaians for are waiting for the NIA to produce their Ghana cards.

He however encouraged those affected to continue following up on their Ghana card and register quickly as soon as they get them.
