Henry Nana Boakye, the New Patriotic Party's National Youth Organiser, has officially launched his candidacy for the job of National Organiser. His announcement comes as the Party prepares to elect new national executives in the run-up to the general elections in 2024.
In a press release announcing the start of his campaign for the position of next National Organiser, he stated that his decision is "based on the enormous experience and relevant skill set I have acquired coupled with proven track record whiles rising through the ranks – from Polling Station, TESCON, Constituency, Region to my current position as National Youth Organizer." "This week in Ashanti Region, I will meet freshly elected and appointed Constituency Officers to present my vision and set of objectives as I seek to be the next National Organizer of the NPP," he says. He promised to run a campaign that is "completely clean and decorous, devoid of insults, contempt, or personal assaults whatsoever." He went on to say that he is confident in his track record and that his 10 points and strategic plan will be enough to persuade voters to give him the job. Under the topic "Strategic Organization for NPP's Sustained Growth & Success," the ten-point strategic plan includes:
“1. Developing an all-inclusive & Participatory activity Master Plan
2. Operation Recapture Lost Seat
3. Strategic communication built on solid organisation & training
4 Resource & Logistic Mobilisation
5. A Stronger Volunteer/identifiable group Management System
6 Continuous training and Capacity Building Programme
7. Special Wings (Youth, Women & Nasara ) Outreach Programmes
8. Strengthening the Party’s Membership Drive Efforts
9. Digitization (Operational & organisational feedback system)
10. Strengthening Diaspora Party Activities and Programmes” he said.
"I bring to the table a wealth of trusted organisational and leadership expertise, and the NPP's organisational arm, under my watch, will assist deliver victory to our party's people in 2024," he concluded.
