The Convention People’s Party (CPP) which is headed by sir Ivor Komlar Greenstreet just like any other political party in Ghana devises political strategies and slogans in order to win more followers on to their side thus more votes for them .
In a press conference he had with his party members some weeks ago prior to the election he urged Ghanaians to give the two outstanding political parties in Ghana which are the national democratic congress and New Patriotic party an electric shock by throwing them out of power and opting for his political party.
The result of the just ended elections however was no where near the aspirations and dreams of the great Ivor greenstreet as his party failed to make enough votes to be able to give the new patriotic party or the New Democratic Congress their perceived electric shock they had anticipated and foretold .
They managed to secure a total vote of 12200 which was not enough to grant them the jubilee house to stir the affairs of the nation.
