Election observers from the United States Of America led by Ms Sullivan have arrived in the country. As at 6:10 am, Monday morning, Ms Sullivan visited the St. Thomas Aquinas polling centre at Labone in the La Dadekotopon Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
Hundreds of people had already queued when she got there. She had some interactions with some of the voters who had queued and waiting to cast their ballot. Some of the questions she asked were "what time did you wake up and why did you woke up that early to vote?".
Ms Sullivan also asked the voters if any of them was a first-time voter and inquired from them if they noticed “anything so different this year”. The voter eagerly responded accordingly as one of them said she wanted to vote early and go back home.
She also had interactions with the election officials. According to the EC officials, the setup was ready and so they were sure that as once the mayerials arrive, voting coukd begin at 7 am.
