The vice President of the Republic His Excellency Dr Mahamadu Bawumia visited co-operative Republic of Guyana and held bilateral meetings with the Guyanese President, Vice President and Prime Minister and later addressed a gathering of government officials and members of the private sector from both Ghana and Guyana.
He said the countries explored opportunities to deepen the strategic engagement and partnership between both countries as they seek to work together to improve the lives of the citizens.
On account of the similarities between Ghana and Guyana have resolved to pursue frequent rigorous, open and mutually beneficial discussions between officials and the private sector of both countries, with the ultimate aim of knowledge-sharing and improved livelihoods for our citizens.
The vice president Dr Bawumia added significant contributions of economic improvement.
