He hails from the Andani gate of Dagbon.
He first settled in a small village called Puriya, a village after Sang on the Tamale-Yendi road.
Born into a royal family, he was trained with good morals and wisdom to handle societal problems in the future.
He has also undertaken traditional warfare training including horse riding. He is one of the best horse combat experts in the North.
He is a successful farmer who has helped in food sustainability in the country.
