Hopeson Adorye Identifies The NDC Officials Responsible For The Booing Of Nana Addo

Hopeson Adorye, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has identified National Democratic Congress (NDC) officials responsible for the booing of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizens Festival.

He said that Larry Dogbey, editor of the Herald newspaper, Alhassan Suhuyini, member of parliament for Tamale North, and Baba Sadiq, NDC Communication Team Member on Creative Arts and CEO of 3Music Awards, were the masterminds behind the booing event.

Adorye stated in an interview with Okay FM in Accra on September 28, 2022, that the booing was staged by the NDC due to the one-sided video from the incident, despite the fact that 'all the bloggers in Ghana were present and streaming live'. According to him, "since Sadiq of 3 Music Awards is an industry player and has a link with the primary organizers, he, Larry Dogbe, and Suhuyini gathered in a specific location to plan"

"They hired 75 lads from Fadama and compensated each one GH120. The videos that are popular are evidence of this. It was from a specific frame "Adorye claimed, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was heckled and booed by a portion of the crowd at the Black Stars Square music event on Saturday, September 26, 2022. The President came there to discuss poverty and the government's efforts to eradicate it, as well as to promote and sustain national unity.
