This Is Lovely; See What Happened As NDC Songai Group Takes Campaign To Central Tongu

The Songhai group is, a special national campaign taskforce, clothed with the responsibility to canvass for votes for H.E John Mahama and running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, today, October 10, 2020, took the campaign to Central Tongu in the volta region.

Meeting with members from the Zongos, chiefs, Imams, and opinion leaders, the group led by Hon. Mamudu Amadu explained to the people why they can not disappoint the NDC.

The former Anyaa solution Constituency chairman and leader of the group, spoke about the “SOYAYYA fund”, the payment of allowances to motivate Arabic teachers in Makaranta, and many other promises to the Moslem communities across the country, and call on them to vote massively for John and Jane in the December 7 general elections.

Reacting to some of their challenges, the businessman and politician, told the people to ensure that John gets the node in 2020.

“I and many of my colleagues in this team are businessmen. We understand the issues. One's power is won, and you want to do genuine business, you have our support”

Do not be disturbed, we are ever ready to protect your welfare and interest when power is won.

On his part, Hon. Shadad Jallo, a member of the group and former Constituency chairman of Ashiaman, reminded the group to be very careful with lies from the ruling party.

He took time to explain the establishment of morgue by Islamic practice as promised by the NDC in its people’s manifesto.

Alhaji Dankasa, a member of the group assured the people that John and Jane will fulfill the campaign promises when they assume power in 2021.

The women also made an appeal for a Makaranta to be built for them, which the group promised to facilitate even before power is won in 2020.

In his closing remarks, Alhaji Gabrila Musah, the chief Imam of the area, prayed for the victory of the NDC and John Mahama in the December 7 polls.

He commended the NDC for the promise to put a Moslem Umma on the chieftaincy and religious affairs board, adding that this will enhance the voice of Moslems in policy and governance.
