We Shall Win This Battle: Okudzeto Reacts After Nana Addo Travels With Ghana's Presidential Jet

The member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa has been in the news for the past few weeks following his exposé on the president's international travels.

President Akuffo Addo is currently in Portugal for another stakeholder meeting. This time around, the president didn't fly in a commercial plane or in a hired private jet to Portugal but he used the country's official presidential jet for this travel.

Okudzeto Ablakwa has reacted to this and has revealed that the battle he is fighting for Ghanaians will surely be victorious. He made this revelation after the president landed safely with the Presidential jet in Lisbon. He added that the Presidential jet was made to believe that it could not fly beyond Africa but it has managed to reach Portugal safely.

"Ghana’s Presidential Jet makes its first trip to Europe in over 13-months after govt spokespersons claimed some ghostly experts advised it shouldn’t be used for presidential trips outside Africa. It safely landed in Faro, Portugal at 12:05am after a 10:43pm transit stop in Lisbon."

"We shall win this battle to protect the battered public purse and save millions of Ghana Cedis to address the needs of the Ghanaian people including paying suffering NABCo trainees, procuring textbooks & attending to school feeding caterers demanding an increase from a cruel 97p" he said.

Okudzeto Ablakwa has been fighting this battle for long and he seems to be winning it at last. His main focus is to make sure that government spends according to the income level of the country and also consider the needs of the people first.

He believes that the president has saved monies that could be used to pay NABCO personnel and other necessities.
