In a studio discussion on Metro TV on their Good Morning Ghana programme yesterday, the Member of Parliament for the good people of Ningo Prampram Constituency, Hon Sam Dzata George called on Mr Richard Ahiagbah to congratulate the former President John Dramani Mahama for initiating the construction of Community Day Senior High Schools when he was in office as President.
Mr Ahiagbah, who is the Executive Director of the policy Thinktank, Danquah Institute had earlier on the show shared his life story of how he had to walk longer distances, over four kilometres to access senior secondary school and on empty stomach too.
Responding to this, the Legislator told Mr Ahiagbah that he owed congratulations due Ex-President John Dramani Mahama, in that, the Community Day Senior High Schools he commenced when he was in office would have solved Mr Ahiagbah's problem of proximity to a secondary school.
He said: "It is important that Richard celebrates President Mahama. He speaks about the fact that he used to wake up about 4 am with his other cousins and walk three or four kilometres to school. That's why President Mahama came to power and started building Community Day Senior High Schools."
