The National Democratic Congress is currently the largest opposition party. It is therefore clear that they largely contribute to the decision making process of the Ghana. It is for this reason that the general secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketsia, saw it unwise for the Electoral Commission to make a reform without the party.
The executives of the party today organised a press conference themed, 'Assessing The So- Called Achievement Of The Electoral Commission And The Reforms.'
The Director of Election for the National Democratic Congress is the main speaker of the conference. He started by condemning the Electoral Commission for some of the misinformation. He stated that most of the achievements mentioned by Jean Mensah was false. An example was that the Electoral Commission was lying when they said that they had saved enough money.
After assessing the so-called achievements, he went on to talk about the reforms. He said that before the Electoral Commission consider any reform, Jean Mensah and Bossman Asare Must Reform Their Arrogance and disrespect first. He evidenced the issue of disrespect by stating that he remembered warning Jean Mensah that, it would be impossible for her to announce the results in 24 hours. But she went ahead and see all the troubles that followed.
