Australian High Commissioner Eulogizes President Akufo-Addo

The Australian High Commissioner to Ghana His Excellency Gregory Andrews have eulogized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as a great and exceptional leader for leading the first ever stakeholders dialogue against Galamsey.

According to him, for the records, this is the first time Government of Ghana has Invited a Diplomat from his outfit to help carve a strategy against illegal mining.

His Excellency Gregory Andrews added that he is extremely honored for the invitation. He made this known in an interview to GTV correspondent carrying the program live on Ghana Television.

Few minutes later, he took to his official Facebook page to write this as follows

"Honored to be with His Excellency Mr President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Honorable Samuel Abu Jinapor to contribute to GHANA'S first ever National consultative dialogue on small scale mining.

This is great leadership by the Government of Ghana in bringing together all important players to secure a roadmap for a sustainable mining and an end to the damages of galamsey"
