The retained District Chief Executive for the North Gonja District in the Savanna Region has expressed gratitude to president Akufo Addo for his renomination, pledging that his second term if approved by members of the North Gonja District Assembly will see him run an even more inclusive office. Hon. Adam Eliasu Red Bawa said knowledge and experiences garnered as Chief Executive in the last four years will enable him to serve the people of North Gonja even better. He disclosed that his second administration will make Peace, security, Human Resource Development, Institutional Strengthening at local level and Overall Social and Physical infrastructural development as priority areas.
In a statement, Hon. Red Bawa, also expressed gratitude to the chiefs, religious leaders and people of the North Gonja area, saying their supports have seen him serve to the satisfaction of the President that he sees the need to renew his mandate. Hon. Red Bawa also said his victory in the DCE race was for everyone including those who contested the position with him.
“To my fellow applicants who offered themselves to serve the same course, this is a universal victory for us all and our people as well. My office will welcome you with open arms 24/7 in the interest of love, unity and sense of purpose,” the statement said.
