Stale of Execution will be filled In the Court Of Appeal. This is Gross Miscarriage of Justice.

Today, the presiding judge of the Cape Coast High Court, Justice Kwesi Boakye has canceled the parliamentary elections in the Assin North constituency in the 2020 parliamentary elections.

The Court presided over Justice Kwasi Boakye has ordered for fresh elections to be conducted for the member of Parliament in the constituency.

The communications director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has broke silence on this decision by The court.

According to Sammy Gyamfi on TV3 Midday News, they are going to file an stale of Execution at the Appeal Court because they think that the judgement by by Cape Coast high court is a gross miscarriage if justice.

"We are a law abiding party, and the member of Parliament for Assin North, Honorable James Kwakye Quayson has determine to use the laws of this country to ensure that justice is done in this matter. So our only hope lies in the laws of this country so that's what we will source to." Sammy Gyamfi noted.

"As I speak to you our lawyers are still within the premises of Cape Coast high court, we are trying to get a copy of the judgement that was delivered by the presided judge of the matter earlier this morning."

"Once we get that, a stale of execution will be filled in the court of appeal in accordance with law and all other things to ensure that, this judgement which in our view, is a gross miscarriage of justice is arrested, will be done immediately" Sammy Gyamfi noted.
