Another vociferous critic of the government has been detained by the German Police. Over the past few weeks there has been a crackdown of some critics of the government. Many believe this is a political attack while others say it will sensitize the airways which have been infiltrated by insults and false information.
According to Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, popular social media sensation and political commentator, Ohene David known for his critic of the Akufo-Addo led government has been arrested by the German Police. According to the information she provided on her Facebook page, the German Police arrested the young man this afternoon. Though she didn’t give any reason she explained that she has been advising Ohene David against insults and yet he failed to listen.
It is yet to be determined what caused the arrest. The President Akufo-Addo is currently on a 10-day trip outside the country. He is currently in Germany and signing some contacts with Biotechnological companies. Ohene David is noted to follow the trend of Twene Jonas in throwing insults at political leaders so they do the needful and develop their countries.
