Wonda Madilo in an interview during the program titled "GH Today" on GHOne TV laments the new Voter's identification (ID) card that the Electoral Commission (EC) wants to compile.
According to Wonda Madilo, he does not understand the reason why the Electoral Commission wants to compile a new Voter's identification (ID) card whiles the new ones are not yet verified in the system.
Wonda Madilo said it is difficult to understand that a country that is languishing in an uncontrollable debt and also running to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for assistance wants to compile a new Voter's identification (ID) card at this stage.
Wonda Madilo then said the vice president of Ghana, Doctor Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia decided to digitalize the economy by the implementation of the Ghana card which has seventeen (17) usefulness but here is the case that the Electoral Commission (EC) is contemplating to do a new Voter's identification (ID) card for the citizens to begin registration on it.
Wonda Madilo then quizzes by asking that the Electoral Commission (EC) will do the new Voter's identification (ID) card by whose cost she is contemplating and has decided to do it?
