Eric Amoako Twum and Edem Agbana have shared their views on the fact that three members of Parliament have been referred to the priveleges committee for their absentism. News reaching JUKELAFRICA indicates that the three who were absent include Honourable Adwoa Sarfo , Regional Minister Henry Quartey and Honourable Kennedy Agyapong . We are monitoring to get the authenticity of their absentism and the probable reasons if any.
However,NDC's executive, Edem Agbana said that absentism at Parliament does not give Parliament a good reputation and expressed worry of incidence of a full house on only voting days . On the other hand, Eric Amoako Twum advised that the members of Parliament should be provided a fair hearing at the privileges committee since there could be tangible reasons for their absentism.
