All MP's in Ghana should learn from what this MP has done

Abraham Lincoln explained democracy as a system of government by the people, of the people and for the people. This means that every country that practices democracy should follow how Abraham Lincoln explained it.

The government itself is the people. The people make up the the government but they only select leaders to lead them and those leaders are the MPs and president, and all other political leaders.

One representative body in the country that stands for the people in terms of law making is the member of parliament. The member of parliament sends the grievances of his people in the constituency to the parliament for redress. The people must benefit from the essence of you being a member of Parliament.

In this view, one member of parliament in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency, Hon Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson the former deputy of finance, has done something big for his constituency and even outsiders have benefited from this.

Many people think he did it for the sake of elections but the truth is that he always does this every year but he made it big this year. As a responsible MP, the education of the youths matters to him most and he organized about 1,500 shs graduates who by one or two reasons failed some subject during their WASSCE time.

He made free remedials for them. Many people thought he was only doing free classes for them till he was able to register everyone for the Novdec coming examination. Imagine the amount he has spent on this project.

Everyone is praising him because he did this for everyone irrespective of your party. He even said this himself that he knew some NPP members who are part but he only wants the best for everyone, and it not because of politics.

So if every MP should be doing this for his or her constituency, Imagine the high literacy level Ghana would have gotten by now. All MPs should learn from him.
