"I Once Rejected An Interview With Nana Addo On One UK Radio Station" - Mugabe Maase

According to Ghanaian journalist Mugabe Maase, he once rejected an interview with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because he was presented with a script of questions that should be asked during the interview.

He claims he asked the interview to be called off because he wanted an interview in which questions asked shouldn't be scripted.

He says he canceled the interview but Nana Addo called back to apologize for the interview to happen.

He said; "When Nana Addo was an opposition leader, 2011, he came on my show at the United Kingdom on Radio Focus, his men presented a script of questions I should ask him, I rejected it. I later received a call from him, begging for the interview to happen. I ask him questions of my choice because I knew the state of Ghana politics."

He claims President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's current interview with BBC, Focus on Africa was one of the best compared to some of the interviews made in Ghana.

He claims his interview with Nana Addo was very standard because he asked questions based on what he saw happening in the country at that moment.
