The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, Mr. Sebastian Sandaare together with his constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) visited the Ghana National Dress Makers Association's annual passing out ceremony of its newly trained dress makers. He used the opportunity to thank the constituents especially the dress makers Association for renewing his mandate as a Member of Parliament for the constituency.
He also encouraged the youth to consider skills training very critical as it provides direct self employment. He called on government and philanthropists to invest in skill training of the youth and assured all that the Skill Development Initiative he started, which is supporting many young ladies in being trained as dress makers will be expanded and sustained.
He challenged those who passed out not to relent but work very hard to make their families proud.
He also supported those who were passed out with two boxes of key soup and a cash amount of ¢GH2,200.00.
The leadership of the Association were marveled by the presence of the MP and promised to continue to pray and support him as he works to improve the welfare of constituents.
