Her Excellency Samira Bawumia dropped a simple message to the family and friends of the late mother of her husband, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia. Her visit to the Mamprusi community made the people very excited and happy. She visited the community to perform some rites in honor of her late mother inlaw.
After spending almost the whole day with the people, Samira left a message to the people when she was addressing the public at the chief's palace, telling them to be strong and hope that, the late mother of the vice president finds a better resting place. She told the people to make sure that, they remember her in their prayers.
Samira Bawumia also expressed how she felt delighted by the warm reception from the residents of the Mamprusi community. She stated that she feels better after visiting the community and has a strong belief that her late mother-in-law has an army supporting her with prayers.
“I am very happy to be with you (my people) once again. The warm reception and comfort you gave me has just given some form of relief. I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to remember our later mother in prayers. We only hope that, she finds a better resting place. I know that,her departure has hurt most of us but we have to stay strong”, she said.
