Ghanaians Should Thank NDC MPs For Stopping The Passage Of The E-Levy Yesterday – A.B. Fuseini

There are currently some differences between the Majority or Minority MPs in Parliament. Their differences deal with some portions of the 2022 budget. The main issue has to deal with the e-levy which the Minority have insisted will not be allowed to stand. Haruna Iddrisu has argued that no percentage of the e-levy will be accepted until the levy is totally removed.

On Alhaji and Alhaji today, Saturday, December 18, 2021, Bernard Mornah of the PNC argued that the NDC are in bed with the NPP. He explained that the NDC are acting like they care but behind the doors they don’t have the country at heart. He called on the NDC to walk the talk and stop acting weak. In reaction, A. B. Fuseini noted that it will be erroneous for anyone to think that the NDC are in bed with the NPP.

He explained that had it not been for the intelligence of the NDC yesterday, the e-levy would have been approved. He cited how the NPP started marshalling their MPs to Parliament yesterday after 11pm because they wanted to have the upper hand and approve the e-levy. He noted that the NDC realized this and also started calling their members to the chamber. A. B. Fuseini mentioned a number of issues that the NDC had debated and won in Parliament. According to the MP for Sagnarigu, Ghanaians should be grateful to the NDC for standing strong and opposing the NPP MPs in Parliament.

He concluded that the NDC have Ghanaians at mind and will continue to oppose anything that will impoverish the lives of Ghanaians. He called for more support and prayers from Ghanaians as the Minority work for the good of Ghana.
