What the member of parliament for Ningo Prampram is saying is very and will also help Ghana and Africa at large true but looking at the situation of Ghana, we cannot do as the MP is saying. Yes we have all the valuable resources you can talk of but our leaders have borrowed to the extent that we can no longer depend on ourselves as a sovereign country. Spend a minute of your precious time and read what Ghanaians have to say about what Hon Sam George said about MPs being rejected into European countries.
Hon Sam George popularly known as Sam Dzata George has recent made some comments about MPs being rejected visa into European countries due to their support for LGBTQI+ bill. Hon Alhassan Suhuyini is part of the MPs who have been denied visa into European countries. According to Hon Sam George, if those countries does not stop their new adapted behavior, he will also make sure that Ghana also shut down all European companies in the country. Sam George lamented that Ghana is a sovereign country and it will be shameful for Ghana if another sovereign country dictates for us. According to our MP, Ghana will sanction any country that will reject our MP due to the fight against LGBTQI+.
Ghanaians reacting to this has noted that what the MP is a good idea but what they planned for the future cannot ensure what he said. Many have also shown their support for the MP and have even asked him to stand for a president as an individual candidate. Some have been lamenting Ghana will die of hunger if such step is taken because MPs are being denied visa. One of the comments also asked the MP to show the economic strength of Ghana which can make her sanction a country.
