The lawmaker of Assin North Constituency has advised Ghanaians to stop patronizing foreign products and patronize made-in-Ghana goods because that act to him is inferiority complex at the highest level. According to him, Ghanaians have a strong attachment for foreign and imported goods than those made in Ghana and it is very true.

Ghanaians have this passion for imported goods than the locally made ones because of the negative mindset that the ones made abroad are of quality and cheaper than the ones made in the country. The outspoken lawmaker accepted the fact that some locally made products are not up to the preferred standard but has encouraged Ghanaians to consume and patronize made in Ghana goods because that is all we have.

Kennedy Agyapong speaking on his Net 2 TV disclosed that it's high time the good people of Ghana changed that kind of attitude. He also made an appeal to all religious leaders to encourage their members to patronize locally made products than fighting the devil every day and night.

He said, "We should encourage Ghanaians to own their own businesses and stop this inferiority complex. It is high time we changed our mindset because what Ghana needs now is good governance and development."
