The Ghana Electoral Commission has published list of people who can participate in the special voting on the 1st of December,2020.
The above mentioned for the special voters include the Ghana Armed Forces, the National Intelligence Bureau, National Security, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service and the Information Services Department and a few to mention.
However, the need for some special voters is that during the main election event they will be supervising at the electoral polls due to the special duties they perform. Their purpose is to ensure that voting goes on smoothly and avoid any misconduct.
Also the special voters will not be given privilege to vote again on the 7th December.
Their results will not be declared until the end of the December 7th election.
On the contrary, they have been trained towards the elections to protect, defend people and to fight election violence on the day of voting.
It is stated that any person who will misconduct themselves due to any political party would be punished by the authorities.
Bare in mind that the countdown to the 2020 election is 4 days from now.
