We Don't Want The Men In Uniforms To Be In Politics: Reverend Agyin Asare Warns.

The General Overseer of the Perez Chapel, Rev. Dr. Charles Agyin Asare has sent a strong message to all security offices especially the police and army officers at an Annual Security Service Day at Burma Camp premises.

In his statement he said, ''we don't want the men in uniforms to be in politics''. In short we don't want a coup d'etat. Is it that we don't have problems like some have in the sub-regions?, he added.

He also asked them to be content with their wages and stop all these bribe issues they involve themselves in even though most of they might be poorly enumerated looking at how dangerous and risky their job is, saying it doesn't commensurate with their responsibility.

In all these challenges, he still urged them not to be greedy since in the end such practices will affect the very same people they swore to protect. This same greed and love of money could also lead them in wanting to lead a coup d'etat so they should desist from it.

Deuteronomy 16:19

You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality; and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 16:20

Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you.
