More Photos: Samuel Abu Jinapor Exhibits Football Skills & Humbly Interacted With His Constituents

The Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and incumbent Minister for Land and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor has taken his time off national duty to visit his constituents. In Ghana, if you are given extra responsibilities by your government after getting into Parliament and you do not have time for your constituents, there is a high probability that the electorates will punish you in the next election.

This is because the constituents want to feel the presence of their Member of Parliament and lay their problems before him/her. In the 2020 Parliamentary elections, some MPs were given a 'painful sack' by their constituents for staying in Accra and not having time to solve petty problems in the constituency. But Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor is trying to avoid the mistakes that led to the loss of some of the seats of the MPs.

Looking at the picture above, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor is passionately exhibiting his football skills with his constituents on a 'sakola' park. Most Ghanaians were amazed by his humbleness to play football with his constituents but asked him to provide the youths in the vicinity with Astroturf football park. He was also captured with some excellent dribbling skills and good passes.

After the game, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor was captured interacting with youths in the town. He also used the opportunity to go on house-to-house visitation and interacted with men and women in the community.

Looking at the facial expression of the constituents, you will notice that the people are really to see their Member of Parliament back in town. The visit shows that they did not only vote for him to be in Accra but rather comes to the Constituency from time to time.

Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor is likely to retain his seat in 2024 if he continues with this humble attitude and visits his electorates regularly to know their need and solve them.
