
The member of parliament for Damongo constituency and also the minister of lands and Natural resources, Honourable Samuel Abu Jinapor makes a tough decision to the tragic events which took place at Apiate.
Due to the tragic events that occurred on January 20, 2022, Honourable Samuel Abu Jinapor decides to direct the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the minerals commission to stop the chief inspector of mines and suspend the registration of Maxam company limited with the minerals commission until the investigations into the tragic events are over.
The decision of Samuel Abu Jinapor, suspending the registration of Maxam company limited and stopping the chief inspector of mines will benefits Ghanaians and also protects them from any similar incident that might happen.
