According to Nana Yaa Brefo, Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie can be a suspect of Ghana going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for assistance because instead of him investing the huge sum of money he received in planting for food and jobs, he has rather used it to campaign for himself.
Due to Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie's action, there are insufficient funds in the economy and the food crisis has hit the country to the extent that there is no other choice than to seek assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Nana Yaa Brefo angrily told Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie that he is a failure as an Agric Minister because if he did his work well, Ghana will not be going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
