Few days ago, the National Women's Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfua, made some unfortunate comments about how the Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwasi Amoako Atta, has been operating. According to Kate Gyamfua, she had observed that the Honourable Minister was only constructing roads in and around his constituency(hometown). Citing an example, Kate Gyamfua gave the road from Anyinam junction to Kwabeng as one of the roads that the Minister is focused on. From her choice of words, she seemed very agitated and asked that Akwasi Amoako Atta be cautioned that he wasn't appointed to construct roads in his hometown only.
This statement from the Women's Organizer has also seemed to annoy some sympathisers of Akwasi Amoako Atta. As a result, the Atewa Youth have called on Kate Gyamfua to render apologies to the Minister of they will expose her illegal activities.
According to the Youth, the Women's Organizer is involved in the menace of the moment, mining. This menace has already drained a massive amount of trust, respect and confidence from the New Patriotic Party. They have threatened to throw more light on her mining activities if she refuses to apologize to Akwasi Amoako Atta.
