'My Mother Is A Beggar And For That Matter, I Don't Deserve This Position' - Lawrence Edutuah-Asiaw

The District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee of the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district, Lawrence Edutuah-Asiaw was sworn into office by the District Magistrate after his confirmation.

When Mr. Edutuah-Asiaw was sworn into office, he decided to deliver a speech and also thank the people for their votes.

He started delivering the speech and while moving ahead, some of the words in the speech touched the people’s heart and they broke into tears in the hall.

The words that made the people broke into tears is, Mr. Edutuah-Asiaw said he heard a lot of people saying, his mother is a beggar and for that matter, he doesn't deserve the position, District Chief Executive (DCE).

Mr. Edutuah-Asiaw said that, he was inspired when he heard that words because if a beggar's son can be lifted high to this level by God’s grace, then truly, there is nothing impossible for the Lord.
