Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has shared a throwback picture of Former President John Dramani Mahama and Bawumia whispering to each other. The picture comes amidst government's decision to go for an IMF bailout despite Bawumia, who criticized John Mahama for going to IMF in 2015 still heading the economic management team.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Friday, 1st July 2022, A Plus shared the picture and wrote;
"I took this photo in 2017 at the inauguration of Nana Addo and Bawumia - the moment when Mahama came on stage to congratulate the "economic messiah."
What do you think Mahama was telling him? "
Dr. Bawumia was a major critique of the NDC government during Mahama's era. At a point he called him incompetent. The vice president promised to even arrest the dollar to help avoid constant cedi depreciation. COVID-19 and Russian -Ukraine war has been sighted as reason why He hasn't achieve that.
The pictures shared has garnered several reactions.
A user wrote that he believe Mahama was telling Buwumia that "Presidency is not what you think outside, I hope you continue my legacy well."
Others believe JM was telling him that posterity would be a good judge and today, it has come to pass.
"Not know the economic Messiah was scam.
He know nothing practical about Ghana economy." Another user wrote.
Now he don turn beans ...
