For months now there have been many calls on the government to make changes to those appointed to govern. With the economy walking on a slippery slope and living conditions getting worse with the day, many have called for some changes in government. The government has run to the IMF for funding but experts say this assistance will come in 2023.
It can be recalled that prior to Akufo-Addo and Bawumia coming to power, the latter organized a number of seminars to sensitize Ghanaians on what the NPP can do to rescue the economy when they come to power. In a series of lectures, Bawumia touted and made everyone believe that he was the economic Messiah but after 6 years Ghana is returning to the International Monetary Fund with food prices soaring and cedi falling to the dollar.
A-Plus in a post has posted a photo of one of the seminars that Bawumia featured on. The lecture featured on how the NPP seeks to restore the Cedi when they come to power. Back in 2014 the opposition NPP had lambasted the John Mahama government for leading the country astray with the fall of the cedi.
The post from A-Plus is receiving reactions as many are blasting Bawumia from promising so much and doing very little. Many claim that instead of Bawumia restoring the cedi, the cedi is rather restoring Bawumia. Check out some of the comments.
