NDC's Member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Cape Coast South Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Kweku Ricketts-Hagan has descended on Pres. Nana Akufo-Addo over introduction of new taxes.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his administration is just to pay for government's own incompetent and bad management of the economy.

Mr. Ricketts-Hagan claim that the the president, Nana Akufo-Addo, penchant to consume the loan he lend to support the economy during the pandemic, instead of using it in ventures that will provide job for the people, and now he's imposing New Taxes to clear his debt.

The former Deputy Minister of Finance being an expert or financial analyst has tagged the new taxes as incompetent.

"That's an incompetent tax", he fumed and said," this government can't tax his way out of the crisis that we are in". Besides, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan thinks the government's approach is a lazy way.

According him, provision of more jobs in the country will be a better option than the new taxes.
