Owusu Bempah Hits Out At JDM Following Recent Outbursts On Election Fraud

Both President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and Former President John Dramani Mahama are touring the various regions across the country. They are both making some statements which are sparking debates and arguments among the general populace.

Convener of Fixing The Country Movement, Mr. Ernest Owusu Bempah believes that Former President Mahama's statements concerning the outcome of the 2020 general elections are unwarranted and baseless. Former President John Dramani Mahama during his tour of the Volta Region raised some questions about the 2020 general elections. The former president added that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) clearly won the 2020 general elections but the governing party, NPP sent troops of military personnel to get the results changed at the collation centres.

This argument of Former President Mahama does not sound very well in the ears of Mr. Ernest Owusu Bempah. In a press conference held in Accra, Mr. Owusu Bempah stated that, the president even in opposition is showing acts of gross incompetence. He stated that the greatest calamity that has ever befallen Ghana is Mr. Mahama occupying the highest office of president. Mr. Owusu Bempah reminded Former President Mahama that he sometime ago touted Ghana's Electoral Commission as one of the best in the world and as such no one should hamper with their work. He again reminded the former president that he could not prove his case of voter fraud at the Superior Court of Judicature. He thus described the recent claims of Mr. Mahama of election fraud without willingness to follow constitutional procedures to be as horrible as Adolf Hitler's propaganda stunts and this must be stopped. He added that it is very clear what he former president is trying to do - to create a religion of conspiracy to undermine our democracy and getting back into power the 2024.

He concluded his statement with a proverb which says, "the leopard cannot change its spots, nor can the tiger change its stripes, but it is time for Mr Mahama to pack it in and get ready for the internal politics that awaits him".
