Since the early hours of today, there has been a social media rage on how the country’s funds are being misappropriated by the political leaders. It all started when Ghanaians received the news that, the maternity ward of the Korle- Bu teaching hospital was on fire.

About an hour ago, Ghanaians have reacted to a post made on the president, Nana Akufo Addo’s page, concerning the cutting of sod for the commencement of construction of the "Ghana Award House" - a new administrative building for the Head of State Award Scheme.

Most people have taken their displeasure what the president is doing, to their various social media platforms to write that, the president and his government have failed the citizens of the country, by doing things which are very unnecessary.

Some commented that, the president can build his awards house, after he has solved the power outages, schools under trees, leaking hospital roofs, bad road network and amongst all the high unemployment rate in the country.

Bridget Otoo has even commented on this issue, she wrote that, this is not important, the prices of cement is going up every week.
