A member of the National Democratic Congress legal team, Lawyer Edudzi Tamekloe, has warned and advised the Retired Brigadier General, Joseph Nunoo Mensah following his recent statement about the current problems in the country. Recently, the retired Brigadier General predicted that based on the way Ghanaians are suffering, he has a feeling that what is happening in Sri Lanka might happen here. What he terms a political uprising.
"Honest people are struggling. Sri Lanka uprising might happen here"
Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe revealed that the Brigadier General might be arrested by Nana Addoif he does not take care of. This is because we are all in this country when the likes of Oliver Barker Vorwamor and Captain Smart were arrested after making such analogous and similar statements.
It is interesting how the President over the past few years has displayed some sort of intolerance on petty issues when he in previous years, has made similar comments. A clear example is the "Arab spring" comments on Peace FM.
