The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has deferred the Ashanti Regional chiefs' political race until additional notification.
The political decision was initially planned to occur on 27th May 2022 at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
Affirming the most recent turn of events, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei made sense of that the deferment would make it simpler for the panel to re-check out at things and set up them.
"Per the public rules directing the lead of the decisions, we are ordered to direct the races in no less than three days, beginning from 27th to 29th, so we can in any case choose to pick between the other date. We approved to utilize the primary date so if there should arise an occurrence of any possibility, we could change the date," he told Nhyira News.
In the mean time, the party has changed the political decision scene from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
