In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, 30th October, 2022, he wrote;
"1. What challenge/s do citizens really face?
2. What strategies will give the people their best chance to success?
3. What values should be promoted at this time?
4. How will my behaviour as the president impact the people's perception of these values?"
Raymond Ablorh asked that in essence, given the critical circumstances we find ourselves now, what would real leadership look like?
He shouldn't come and lament with us about Covid and Russia/Ukraine war effects and how they've affected the world. We've lamented enough. And, that excuse is stale now.
Also, we've had enough of his annoying, insulting, arrogant posture; calling critical citizens naysayers, professional jeremiahs, etc. Raymond remarked.
He added that Ghanaians are not his enemies, we're his fellow citizens who sometimes think differently from him on some of his approaches. So, he should stop that ancient nation polarising politics his fathers and others did.
He's old enough to know that that politics didn't help our forefathers; it killed them and their dreams.President Akufo-Addo must be able to take responsibility for the place or role of leadership in what led us to this place, because, we all know that global phenomena alone isn't the cause of our miseries and economic predicaments. He advised.
President Akufo-Addo must tell us why he thinks the very Finance Minister and the people who led us here should be in office to negotiate with the very IMF they told us, "we shall never go today, tomorrow and as long as the NPP remain in power" knowing investors and other global institutions have lost confidence in them.
He should also tell us when they presented Ghana's home grown programme to IMF and how soon are we getting the help we need from them?
As part of measures to cut down government expenditure, President Akufo-Addo must reduce his Ministers/Deputies drastically.
John Mahama and Bawumia have advised as if the latter is still in opposition that we cut down on importation. Government should declare its procurement and importation policy to that effect and tell us how they're ensuring that they produce what we need here.
