Chief of Dwenewoho in the Ashanti Region, Nana Owusu Ampofo, has roared and led the youths in his area to criticize the Nana Addo-led administration. Right now, the heat is even coming from the vote bank of the NPP, Ashanti region. The Chief did not direct his message to the Member of Parliament of that area, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. He rather expressed his disappointment in the President.
"Considering the support the ruling NPP government is getting from the Ashanti Region, we are expecting that the region would do massively as compared to what is happening in other regions. We are disappointed with the government for failing to fulfill its promises regarding the development of the region.
"The region has been denied development even though the region has the highest members of Parliament in the country. The government promised to fix our roads and develop Suame Magazine into an industrial hub but none of these promises has been fulfilled.", he said.
