The member of parliament who is very hard working in Nana Akufo-Addo's government warned the general public that should if someone come in his name to collect money from them without him informing them, they should report the person to Ghana Police Service and his office and describe the person as fraudster. He was not happy with what is currently happening in the country in his constituency.
"The Office of the Honourable Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency, wishes to inform the public, particularly constituents of Hohoe that the Member of Parliament, Hon John-Peter Amewu and his constituency office does not charge money to facilitate employment opportunities for constituents.
Anyone who is asked to pay money under the pretense of securing jobs or scholarship does so at his/her's own risk.
Please disregard such requests and report these fraudsters to the police and MP's office for action to be taken. Thank you" Hon Peter Amewu told Ghanaians today, Saturday, 3rd July, 2021 on his social media wall.
