Same old faces, same liars, they just changed positions - Nana B jabs NDC

The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye known publicly as ‘Nana B’ has praised the National Democratic Congress for being violent free congress as compared to the previously held at Cape coast which saw a chaotic and ruthless NDC exhibiting violence.

However, he believes the largest opposition NDC is in a ‘deep crisis that will daunt their preparedness for the December 7, polls because the old faces have changed position.

Nana B in an interview with Sompa Tv on the newly elected national executives of the NDC said there is nothing new about their leadership compared to that of the NPP.

"You are talking about Fiifi Kwetey, Asiedu Nketia and co, the same liars, propaganda secretary and co, nothing has changed".

“It's not going to be about lies again, I've said it occasionally, people say Fiifi Kwetey is hot-headed, yes but the general secretary for the New Patriotic Party, very calm, strategic, and approachable, affable and welcoming, be reminded that hot water cannot drawn, it takes cold water to drown.

He added that the NPP has been vindicated on the tribality comment being tagged by the NDC.

“The NDC were wagging a negative campaign against the NPP that we are an Akan inclined party, inciting other tribes against us but out of the 25 executives they elected, only six are from the Akan origin representing 24%, article 55 clause 4 of the 1992 constitution says a political party should be national in character, and the Akan represents about 45 % of the Ghanaian populace, so if your national leadership has only 6 from the largest tribe, then what do we say about you” he asked rhetorically.

He has opposed strongly against the claim made by the National Democratic Congress saying they have had a renwed love for the Ashanti Region.

"how can you say you have a renewed love for the region when you have against Adusei, Brogya Genfi, Otukonnor and others who are the Akans" he questioned.

He said the umbrella family is seriously facing a “leadership crisis” and that is worrying about the beauty of politics because it is these people who could not collate their results in the last elections.
