Today happens to be the day Hon Alan Kwadwo kyeremanteng get vetted by the appointment committee of parliament. Ghanaians have been waiting for a day like this to watch his excellent presentation on matters.
Hon Alan Kwadwo kyeremanteng is a lawyer, an economist, a management consultant and an internationally recognised trade icon, a proud alumni of the university of Ghana and the school of law.
Hon Alan Kwadwo kyeremanteng is a senior policy advisor, a senior corporate executive and the former ambassador to the United States. Alan Kwadwo kyeremanteng was the coordinator of African trade policy center of the UNECA and part of the leading team for the establishment of AfCTA. He was the first Regional Director of Enterprise Africa who also established and managed EMPRETEC Ghana
He was a member of the council of Governors of the British Executive Service Overseas (BESO). He was listed as one of the top 100 Global Leaders for the New Millennium by the Times International Magazine.
Hon. Alan Kyerematen was Minister for Trade, Industry and Presidential Special Initiatives during the first NPP government led by President John Agyekum Kufuor. After NPP won elections again in 2016 led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, he was the first Minister to be named to once again lead the Trade and Industry Ministry of Ghana.
Per the committee’s schedule for today, Hon. Alan Kyerematen will be the second person to appear before the committee.
