Kamala Harris, First Female Vice President of the USA

Women empowerment is a topic hovering everywhere around the world.

Now here's the current good news for us(women especially).

Kamala Harris,56, a member of the Democratic Party. She has no significant non-European ancestry(the daughter of an Indian mother and a Jamaican father).

She has been declared the first female Vice President of the United States of America (USA). This has given most blacks the feeling of being represented in national politics for the first time.

A milestone for herself and a nation with great history of racism. This has made her an extraordinary politician.

She was the first black woman to serve as California's attorney general(2011-2017). She served as the District Attorney for San Francisco(2004-2011).

The above is Ms. Harris being sworn in as the District Attorney for San Francisco in 2004 with her mother by her side .

USA's Vice President elect claims to have gone through struggles in the just ended election.

To even get the very women and black people she was hoping to vote for her as Mr. Joe Biden's running mate was a major problem.

Congratulations Ma.

Long live the Democratic Party!

Long live the USA!!
