'Sammy Gyamfi reveals the secret behind the burning of excavators'

In recent times, the fight on Galamsey operations in the country has been trending a lot in the country. Galamsey operations have been causing massive havoc to the country’s water bodies and other natural resources, which needs to be put to a halt, but efforts to do so have been very difficult.

We can recall that, some excavators were burnt recently by the military, all with the goal to fight Galamsey operations in the country. The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi has recently described the burning of the excavators as unlawful and not good.

Kate Gyamfua who happens to be National Women’s organizer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP’s excavators were burnt and to Sammy Gyamfi, she is a soft target and that has led to this.

According to Sammy Gyamfi speaking recently on Onua Fm’s “Yen Sempa” morning show, he revealed that, her excavators were burnt because of some comments she rained on the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Road minister.

Sammy Gyamfi further explained that, Kate Gyamfua made some comments about Kwasi Amoako Atta since leaving the roads in Akwatia and some other sectors of the country unattended to, and only focusing on roads around Kyebi, and thus this lead to the burning of her excavators.

According to Sammy Gyamfi, the president failed to fight the Galamsey operations even in his first term and thus should come out well on his commitment to dealing with the illegal mining activities, that are causing massive havoc to rivers and other natural resources in the country.

This is what Sammy Gyamfi is saying about the president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Road minister, on the reason why excavators are burnt.
