According Maxwell Kofi Juma, the government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is having shares in GIHOC together with others. Meaning everything that comes out of GIHOC is shared together with government.
He Explained that GIHOC is not under full government supervision. They pay their own bills, salaries and other expenses. They don't draw salary from government.
That was one reason why he threatened to angrily beat Dumelevo mercilessly if he tried coming to his office for audit.
According to him, he was very angry when Dumelevo wrote a letter to him that he wants to audit GIHOC.
That angered him because Dumelevo was naive that government is a shareholder and not the full owner of GIHOC.
He urged anybody who takes over from Dumelevo to be cautious of writing to him for audit because he will never take it lightly with that person if they call for Audit. He will never allow it.
He owes nobody an audit because its a shared liability company.
