Radio and television show host and presenter, Nana Yaa Brefo has made another bold statement and has sent a strong message to Ghanaian politicians.
While presenting news on Angel tv and Angel FM earlier today, Yaa Brefo angrily said that, the politicians in this country only go to some villages when it is time to for elections.
Yaa Brefo said that, she visited a village in Wassa some weeks ago and she didn't like the state in which she found the villagers. She said that, there was no access to electricity and good drinking water in the village.
She also stated that, the village had a very poor road network and the people found it difficult to move to nearby hospitals in times of emergency.
She also added that, politicians do nothing about the situation of these villagers but they (the politicians) are able to go to the village when it is time for elections.
“There is no access to electricity and water in some villages but you (our politicians) don't pay any attention to these problems. You only go there when it is time for elections”, she said.
