Same-Sex relationship is common in the western world and not on the African continent. But due to the fact that, Africans depend mostly on the Whites, African is now being forced to practice this shameful act which our cultural heritages frown upon. In this article, I have compiled the top three African countries that have legalized homosexuality in their country.
1. South Africa
South Africa is regarded as one of the leading nations in Africa to legalize homosexuality. This peace loving country, is the first African nation to enact same sex marriage law in the year 2006. They have even provided homosexuals protection, with their laws in the country.
2. Cape Verde
This is the first African country to provide homosexuals, laws which guides them from being discriminated upon. In 2004, Cape Verde made the activities of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders legal in the country, preventing them from being imprisoned for such acts.
3. Sao Tome and Principe
Homosexuals are free to practice but with limited laws guiding them in this country. This beautiful country, has also backed same sex marriage activities since 2012, making them one of the African countries that has legalize same sex marriage.
