If COVID-19 had occurred under Mahama, Ghana would have been doomed; Nana Addo declares

His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has said he is amazed when he hear criticism of his government from members of the opposition National Democratic Congress. He said this speaking on Peace FM as part of his tour of the Greater Accra Region. According to the president, it is unbelievable to him when the NDC who recorded the lowest economic growth of the country before he assumed office in 2017, say he is mismanaging the economy. He maintained that, if Coronavirus pandemic had happened under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama government, the country will have been doomed.

The President, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has said the financial situation country is not is the best but the government is doing its best to bring development of the country. Nana Addo said this in an interview on Peace FM 'Kokroko' Show ( on October 21). According to him, money needed to fix all the roads in the country is very huge, and given that the country is a developing country, it does not have all his resources to undertake all the road infrastructure at a goal. He admitted that, once in a while, payment of contractors may be late, but the bottom line is the government is bringing development to the people of Ghana.
